Whimsical Styled Elopement in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania • Lindsay Eileen Photography

It may be freezing outside today, but we've got the perfect styled elopement in Kennett Square to warm you up. This real-life couple, Harris and Lauryn, offered up their beautiful farm for this whimsical wedding inspiration shoot, which will also be the setting of their wedding this year! This team assembled by our favorite, Lindsay Eileen Photography, are some of the best and most creative vendors in the business, and we love how they pulled together to produce this sweet and adorable styled shoot.

When my friend Sara and I began planning this shoot, we had a really clear vision for what we wanted the day to look like. Our models, Harris and Lauryn, are a fabulous real-life engaged couple who live on a beautiful farmette in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, and they graciously offered us the opportunity to shoot on their property as they intend to hold their own wedding there in the future. They also expressed an interest in hosting elopements on their property in the future, so this was a great trial run for them, and a whole lot of gorgeous fun for us!

Our go-to MUA for shoots like these is Maria Gatto of Blushing Bombshell, as she is absolutely amazing at bringing the looks we've envisioned to life. For Lauryn, we wanted a look that would accentuate her natural beauty without being overwhelming. A loose updo finished the look along with the two gowns we had chosen to reflect the both the charm and the glamour of the styled shoot.

For our florals, we chose a combination of blooms, succulents, and dried cotton stems for a look that was just a touch organic and a whole lot of whimsical. Our cake was graced with similar florals, and featured 2 metallic and two glitter-laden tiers. One of our favorite accents from the shoot was the old dresser we sat the cake on. It is a reclaimed antique piece that Lauryn and Harris found when they moved into their home not that long ago.

One of the awesome benefits of shooting at this gorgeous private venue was the option to utilize the horses. We chose to dress Lauryn in a gilded sequin gown for this portion of the shoot to reflect the gorgeous light of the setting sun, and it fit her as though it was tailor-made for her! We are so thrilled with how this shoot turned out, and we can't wait to return to this beautiful farmette for more shoots in the future!
