It’s been a week of endless pretty here on the blog, and this incredible styled engagement from Tyler Boye Photography is just the icing on the cake! With the backdrop of Longwood Gardens and Terrain, this incredibly talented team of wedding vendors created a modern, moody and romantic engagement session that leaves you speechless. The chemistry between these two is palpable, and it’s not hard to tell that their love runs deep. We love everything about this styled shoot, and know that you will, too!Read More
Kelly + David's engagement session almost has us wishing for cooler temps (almost)! We love everything about these photos by Emily Wren - cozy sweaters, a fire pit and hot cocoa... all at Terrain? The rustic charm and unique layout is the perfect setting!
From Emily: Looking for a location to take your engagement photos this winter or early spring? Terrain's rustic charm and winter greenery provided the perfect backdrop for Kelly & David's engagement session. First we snapped some shots as they cozied up around the fire pit. We took more portraits inside surrounded by the pretty ferns and succulents of the greenhouse. Then in the cafe Kelly & David sipped cocoa as I captured some more candid moments. I had so much fun getting to know these two and really can't wait for their wedding at Brookmill Farm this fall!
A little different than our normal posts, but one we love nonetheless. This bridal shower, photographed by Brittani Elizabeth Photography, is the epitome of rustic elegance. The garden shed at Terrain is the perfect backdrop, and Katie's mom and sister did an incredible job with the decor and flowers. And of course, we adore the classic menus paired with hand-lettered chalkboard signage throughout the venue - a perfect combination.
From Brittani: Katies Bridal Shower was beautifully set up by her mom and sister. The succulent favors in vintage vases and containers were the perfect addition to the rustic "Garden Shed" at Terrain. The wooden floors and metal chairs created the perfect garden atmosphere as Katie's closest family and friends gathered to celebrate her upcoming wedding.
A little about the couple: Katie and Brian met at summer camp in high school and kept in touch for three years (and many different screen names!) before starting to date in college. They've been together ever since! Brian proposed on Thanksgiving weekend next to the fire in her parents' cabin.
