Despite it's reputation from a famous MTV show, the Jersey shore is one of our state's finest treasures. From historic landmarks to good ol' fashioned fun, the Shore is full of everything we adore about summer, and this bachelorette celebration is exactly how we want the shore memorialized. Jennifer Larsen and Stephanie Williamsen dreamed up a sweet and patriotic 4th of July shoot in Lavallette, and we're already pining for some beach time. Proof that your bachelorette celebration doesn't need to be elaborate, this session is sweet-summertime, perfection.Read More

Only a short walk away from the heart of downtown Lancaster, our tasting room provides a rustic yet elegant destination away from the distractions of modern life. 2 | PASSENGER COFFEE
We've found that coffee and relationships have a lot in common. Both take time to foster. Both take a lot of care and attention to the details. Both reveal the joys of discovery, learning, and sharing. We love the way coffee brings people together and we feel completely honored to have a small part in that. Passenger was born out of these simple pleasures, uniting our talents and skills into one passionate pursuit in the city we love.

4 | FOXFIRE MOUNTAIN HOUSE
Bohemian and relaxed, Foxfire is like your globe-trotting uncle’s country estate. A place where modern travelers can lounge by the stone fireplace on sheepskin rugs or on vintage velvet and leather sofas. It’s about conversation, community, and the right ambience to create perfect moments.
Whether it’s the collections of butterflies and antlers, old silver, or the Moroccan tiles, there’s a simple sophistication throughout. The 100-year-old inn has 11 guest rooms, each with white linen bedding on sunbleached wood beds crafted by a local carpenter to ensure a good night’s sleep. In the morning, guests help themselves to a bountiful breakfast laid out on the concrete bar — hot coffee/tea, house-made granola, yogurt, fruit and juice, fresh-from-the-oven banana bread or apple cake, hot dishes, soft buttery cheeses, smoked fish, and meats with a Nordic country influence.
Located in the Catskill mountains, Foxfire Mountain House is nestled on ten private acres with a pond and lily pool, bonfire pits, and a rustic outdoor pavilion for nights under the stars. Travel the byways and check out local shops and restaurants, or stay swaddled in the hammock for hours on end. It’s a place to call your own, however long you stay. You’re welcome here, always.
5 | HUDSON MADE NEW YORK
I Founded Hudson Made with the visions of reinvigorating the marketplace with unique items, supporting regional and sustainable production, making safe and high quality goods, and telling each product's individual story.
In the effort to support local economies, we aim to source as many of our products and ingredients as possible from within 200 miles of the Hudson Valley area, which we call home. At our farm in the pristine Catskill Mountains, we organically grow the botanicals used in our oil infusions, creating jobs and inspiring creativity. How much closer can one come to the product's source than to grow and nurture some of the base ingredients?
Ultimately, our philosophy is a proposition, not one of revolution, but one of return. A return to a time when craftsmanship and quality were valued above over-consumption and standardization. We offer one-of-a-kind products that enhance your life, perform well and that last.
And we also strive to forge close relationships with our partners, who help to guarantee the highest level of authenticity and ingenuity. I can’t wait to share with you all of the new products we have in store...

We're so excited to introduce you to one of Red Oak's Preferred Vendors, Alyssa Theil of Parris Chic Boutique! With a shop full of beautiful home and wedding decor, she runs a flourishing business in Allentown, New Jersey. Alyssa's signature lettering and eye for design has made her shop a go-to gift destination. You might just find yourself making a very long wish list after reading this post... don't say we didn't warn you!
TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU! I started Parris Chic Boutique on a whim back in 2012 right after marrying the man of my dreams and moving into our first little apartment together. It was here that I fell in love with any and every type of handmade décor. After much encouragement from my hubby, I decided to open a shop and pursue what quickly became a dream of creating what we know today as PCB.
Fast forward almost three years later and together we’ve watched this hobby turn into a blessing of a business. We are now a husband and wife duo with a faithful team of loving employees who simply can’t wait to create for our customers!
WHAT DOES PARRIS CHIC BOUTIQUE OFFER? Founded in 2012, Parris Chic Boutique is our take on beautiful, meaningful handmade home and wedding décor. Pretty throw pillows, classic neutrals, and all things calligraphy are our specialties. Here at PCB we strive to celebrate love daily and our hope is that with our products you too can do just that.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WORKING WITH COUPLES? We aren’t necessarily limited to couples, but my most favorite part of working with customers is personalizing a keepsake just for them that I know they are going to cherish for a life time. It’s always a little extra special to purchase or receive a gift that was designed and made just for the recipient. With our new brick + mortar shop I get to watch our customers faces light up when they realize we can make something just for them on the spot and they can walk away with a 100% custom gift to celebrate the love in their lives.
WHAT MAKES YOUR BUSINESS UNIQUE? Our products go deeper than pretty things to decorate your home with. This line of home & wedding décor is meant to speak truth and help you celebrate and cherish the love in your life. The relationships in our lives prove to be most important again and again and that alone is a reason to celebrate.
ONE PIECE OF ADVICE FOR COUPLES: Don’t forget to celebrate your loved one for absolutely no reason at all. Take them on surprise dates, rent their favorite movie, buy them a pillow, or just camp out in the living room and spend some quality time together Netflix binging. I think it can be hard to get caught up in the everyday business of life, but it’s so important to constantly take a step back and celebrate the people who matter most to you.
CHILDHOOD CAREER ASPIRATION? Oh goodness, I had some crazy ones! When I was really young I wanted to be a “cash register girl” because obviously pushing all those buttons just seemed like too much fun. I also went through a phase where I wanted to be a carnival ride operator which is just hilarious. But as a kid all I saw was free rides and free cotton candy! Growing older, I wasn’t too sure what I wanted to do. This business certainly came about at just the right time. I was a year out of high school and knew I wanted to dabble in the art world and focus on something creative, but struggled with the idea of what that looked like in reality. Soon enough a blessing of a business stood in front of me where I could be creative every single day, in my own way, and at my own pace. Even though I had no idea what my ideal job looked like at the time, Parris Chic Boutique really is my dream come true!
COFFEE OR TEA? Coffee!
HIDDEN TALENT? One of my favorite past times that most people don’t know about is creating on a wheel and making things out of clay. I was a big ceramics nerd in high school. I would spend hours after school, during lunch, and all my free periods in the ceramics room. And to this day it’s still something that brings me a lot of rest and joy.

Today's the day! Red Oak Weddings is officially live, and we couldn't be more thrilled! But before we dive into everything that lays ahead for this brand-new business, we should probably tell you how we came to be.
I'm Jillian, editor + founder of this new space. I'm also the owner of Bella Carta Boutique, a stationery studio right here in northern New Jersey. As a small business owner, I struggled to find a way to connect with local couples. There were so many opportunities to advertise on a national level, but I really wanted to work with couples from the tri-state area. Surely a site had to exist that focused on local weddings... a site that had the look and feel of the big blogs I read every day, but was focused solely on local weddings and vendors. Turns out there were a few, but none felt like the right place for me. I craved an online space that focused on well-designed, authentic and creative weddings. A blog that was as beautiful as the weddings it showcased. A space I was proud to advertise on. When I couldn't find what I wanted, I had this crazy idea to start my own. Here we are, six months later, and I'm ready to share this space with all of you.
Red Oak Weddings is a wedding and lifestyle blog devoted to assisting and inspiring couples planning their wedding in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We're looking to redefine the typical wedding, raise the bar on creativity and become the destination for brides and grooms planning their wedding in the tri-state area.
Red Oak Weddings will serve authentic, purposeful businesses who want to attract a specific bridal client. Namely, couples who place a high value on design, working closely with local vendors, and creating a one-of-a-kind wedding. Our community will be a place for like-minded creatives to collaborate, inspire, and connect with local couples planning their wedding.
We're so happy you're here! Take a look around, follow along on social media, and be sure to check back every day this week for lots of pretty.
