Kicking off this rainy week with a little sunshine and a whole lot of joy: Amanda + Dan's gorgeous fall wedding at Eagle Manor in Fairfield, New Jersey! When we first saw this wedding from the adorable duo of Kate + Jill Photography, we instantly fell in love with the rich, warm colors, the stunning burgundy bridesmaid dresses and of course, the #happiestbrideever, Amanda! The incredible floral design and lush tablescapes were the perfect compliment to the already-stunning grounds of Eagle Manor, and that tented receptions space makes us wish we could redo our own fall wedding outdoors! There are so many things we love about this wedding from J&R Photography: the traditional elements paired with unexpected details, the stunning bride + groom, and of course, the emotion in every photo. Samantha + Zak's Wedding day was quite literally, perfect, and a beautiful way to begin their journey as husband + wife!
From Jennifer: Samantha and Zak met in church and began dating in 2009. Having been together for nearly 7 years, the two have been inseparable throughout college, internships and starting careers. In 2015, Zak proposed to Sam at the Philadelphia Museum of Art's Arms and Armor exhibit. Asking if he could be her knight and shining armor for life, Samantha said yes. They soon began planning their small backyard wedding at Sam's parents house on Marlton Lakes. Though a smaller wedding, no detail was left out. Mullica Hill Floral Co. provided beautiful florals that were the perfect touch for the affair.
When we arrived at Sam’s house for prep, the calm energy set the tone for the rest of the day. Sam was gracious and so excited to see her groom. Let’s also not forget the fact that she is stunning!! Once we arrived at the church and the ceremony began we immediately could feel the love between Sam, Zak and their entire family. For the rest of the day we had to pinch ourselves to make sure the day was real. We had so much time for photos and Sam and Zak were simply enamored with each other. They simply made our job too easy for us.
It was truly on a honor to be witness to Sam and Zak’s nuptials and be a small part of a day that had such special meaning to everyone involved. It was one of those days that reminds us why we love what we do.
There aren't words to describe how much I love this engagement session from Whimsical Imagery. Everything about it seems so authentic and effortless, and it's clear from the gorgeous images that these two are head-over-heels for each other. Sarah & Sham are naturals in front of the camera, and I can only imagine how stunning their wedding will be!
From AmberLee: Sarah & Sham were such a sweet couple to work with and they had a great sense of style. We used the small town of Mullica Hill as the setting for the engagement session. We were able to use a cute shop (Farm House Designs in Mullica Hill) as a backdrop for our session that had the perfect cozy cabin feeling. We walked around the town and found some nice little spots. At the end when, it was starting to get dark, Sarah & Sham did an outfit change then we headed to the backyard of Farm House Designs/Canteen and I tried to create the feeling of Sham's proposal to Sarah with the romantic candlelit feel.
