It's a beautiful day to share a beautiful wedding! This intimate, classic wedding at The Wine Bar in Atlantic Highlands is from one of our favorite vendor guide members, DeborahAnn Photography, and we love how sweet and simple Joe and Lynn's day was. Lynn's gorgeous lace gown, the pastel summer florals, the perfect invitation suite, and of course, the contribution of family and friends that helped pull their day off.. it is all beautiful, timeless and proof that classic never goes out of style.Read More
The sweetest ending to a wild week: an adorable couple, one of our favorite photographers, and a puppy in a BOWTIE. Rebecca and Tyler's engagement session at Jockey Hollow with Deborahann Photography is so sincere and full of love, that we can't help but smile. These two met in middle school, reunited in NYC after college... and well, the rest is history! They're naturals in front of the camera, and I'm sure they'll agree that Beau (their puppy) absolutely stole the show. Sit back and enjoy these lovebirds and their perfect summer day in Morristown, NJ... while we'll be out finding a bowtie to put on our own four-legged friends!Read More
We may be welcoming fall with open arms here in the tri-state area, but that doesn't mean we can't love on summer for all that it's worth! This beachside engagement session from one of our favorites, DeborahAnn Photography, is as cute as they come. Trey and Katie's love story brought them from Texas to New York, where Trey finally asked Katie to be his wife. Their engagement photos are playful, sweet and absolutely the perfect way to remember summer-lovin' at the Jersey Shore.Read More

The moment we saw Deborah's first peek of the wedding on Instagram over the summer, I knew this wedding was one we needed to share. Sacha and Ricardo's Wedding is everything you imagine a chic Brooklyn Wedding would be, and more. With both the bride and groom having roots in Brooklyn, the "where" was an easy decision. Together, Sacha and Ricardo found the most incredibly talented vendors to bring their dream to life, and from the look on their faces, it's clear these two had the time of their lives! Deborahann Photography captured every joyous emotion and thoughtful detail, telling the most beautiful story of their perfect spring wedding.
From Deborah: Sacha and Ricardo initially met at the Jersey Shore several years ago. They had their mutual friends and would spend lots of time together enjoying beach life. It wasn't until years later that their relationship began!
This couple has a real love for food and fantastic red wine and love to frequent several of their favorite restaurants in the Brooklyn area. Ricardo also loves to cook so you can always find him in the kitchen whipping up some yummy new recipe and Sacha right by his side to assist! So as we all know that with great food and wine comes the need to hit the gym and these two absolutely love their time spent together working out. Another love that their share is travel and so for their honeymoon they chose to visit South Africa and Mozambique. I cannot wait to hear all about their adventures and see some gorgeous photographs!
Both Sacha and Ricardo were born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Ricardo grew up in Carroll Gardens and Sacha's parents had lived in the area before she was born and she regularly loves to visit this beautiful neighborhood and enjoys all of the fun things it offers. They share a beautiful home in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn where they get to wander over to a local park and watch the many beautiful sunsets right over the Verrazano Bridge.
When it came time to the planning of their wedding, they both knew it had to be in Brooklyn. They loved the Brooklyn Winery so they decided it had to be the place for the ceremony and also the reception. Sacha and Ricardo wanted everything to be perfect as all couples do. They truly put their heart and soul in the planning and choices of every little detail for their special day. From her gorgeous wedding dress made by Rebecca Schoneveld to her floral arrangements and bouquets that were artfully created by Rebecca Shepherd floral design, everything came together perfectly. Her bridesmaids pretty blue dresses were from BHLDN and complimented the groomsmen so wonderfully with their dashing navy suits from robbieandco. The winery was adorned with two beautiful sprays of flowers atop the wine barrels with the most lovely greens and lovely pink flowers consisting of many cherry blossom stems mixed with beautiful spring flowers. It brought such a elegant atmosphere for the ceremony.
Sacha chose the Wythe Hotel located in the heart of Williamsburg to get ready for her big day. The heartbeat of this sweet town is just perfect. I love the location of the Wythe hotel which is situated on a corner and has the prettiest sign ever! Everything was so nice and close in proximity which made it so nice for all of their guests. It was the perfect place to spend the night before her wedding knowing she would be waking up to the warmth and glow of the NYC skyline.
One really special part in particular of the wedding day was having their three handsome nephews and sassy little niece as part of their bridal party. The kids absolutely stole the show as kids always do. Seriously they were the cutest little people ever and each one made it down the aisle!
After a full day of getting ready, Sacha surrounded by her closest friends and Ricardo just hanging with the guys in their apartment, it was time for their first look. As it turned out to be a rainy day, we were still able to do so outdoors and the photos were quite adorable with the pretty umbrellas that Ricardo and Sacha hid under. I never appreciated those dancing little raindrops before and they added a special little touch to the photographs. From there we all headed over to the winery for some portraits, bridal party fun shots and the family portraits. As it was raining, we needed to do all of our photos for the day inside and the winery could not have been more perfect in every way for our scenery. When it did clear up a little, we actually were able to step outside for some fun shots.
Following the ceremony, the party began with an awesome cocktail hour followed by great food, fabulous wine and it continued on until the midnight hour with laughter and dancing filling every ounce of the winery. It was a beautiful celebration of a perfect couple!

One of our favorite love stories from one of our favorite photographers, and this time, it's their wedding day! We featured Pam + Morgan's engagement session when we launched our blog back in February, and we could not be more thrilled to share their gorgeous summer wedding at McLoone's Pierhouse! With their children by their side and their closest friends and family looking on, these two said I DO in the same spot they were engaged. Deborahann Photography perfectly captured every detail, and more importantly, the obvious love and respect these two share for one another.
From Deborah: Pam's mom would always tell her, "keep your heart open for you never know when love is going to come in". After 10 years of being a single parent and raising three children, her mom's advice seemed a little far fetched to her at the time. Between working full time and raising her kids she never stopped to think that there would even be time for love.
Morgan, also a single parent was feeling the same way. With his busy schedule and raising three children he never even thought of having time to date. In the past, he had tried some of the dating online services but just never seemed to find the right one. A few years ago he decided that he would give it one more chance. Little did he know that Pam also had decided to jump on the dating website at the same time.
As fate would have it, they found each other. Their first meeting was at Starbuck's. When Pam walked in she spotted him sitting across the room and recognized him from his picture. The minute she saw him those schoolgirl butterflies hit her. Talk about a little nervous! Pam joined Morgan at the table and they sat and chatted for a long time getting to know one another. A question that Morgan asked her during their time together was if she would ever consider getting married again. She thought it was a little strange at first that he would ask her that on their first date, but soon realized how important that was to Morgan and actually to her as well.
They continued to see each other and on each date they grew closer and closer. It soon became clear that they were falling in love. Thinking about the future, they knew that they wanted to share their lives and raise their children together.
Their favorite place to be together was always at the beach. Every chance they would get they would head to the shore or sometimes even to an island for a special occasion.
Two years had passed when Morgan decided to propose to Pam. He actually chose a spot in Long Branch NJ on the beach at McLoone's Pierhouse. Pam knew that this was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
Once the wedding plans began, McLoone's seemed like the perfect place to be married. On the beach!!! They were able to reserve the venue for their wedding and reception. Pam and Morgan decided that their children would be their bridal party and Pam wanted a wedding with all that she had dreamed about.
Everything was so perfect! She wore a beautiful Casablanca Couture wedding dress and she was stunning to say the least.
One of her favorite moments that day was when her dad came to her room for their first look. It was so sweet and special for many reasons. There were lots of sweet tears.
Their wedding ceremony was officiated by their dear friend Pastor Tim Daniels and they were surrounded with all of their family and friends. The afternoon was a delicious brunch and then they danced the afternoon away! The beautiful couple with enjoy a honeymoon in St. Lucia.

We love styled shoots for so many reasons, and at the very top of that list is the endless inspiration that happens when a group of talented and creative wedding vendors dream big. This Rustic Romantic styled shoot from TWO of our Vendor Guide Members, Cinnamon Wolfe and DeborahAnn Photography, is overflowing with beauty, style and incredible vision.
From Cinnamon: Having two photographers plan and prepare a styled wedding shoot is no easy task! But thanks to an amazing team of vendors, Debbie and I were able to pull it off and everything came together so beautifully!
We wanted to highlight a very romantic and rustic barn wedding in the Spring at the amazingly beautiful Sterlingbrook Farm and Events. This venue is to die for! A gorgeous, rustic barn settled in between fields of soft green grass with rustic fences and grand trees. Sterlingbrook is also an equine center so there are plenty of majestic horses to greet you as you come in and look on as you do your first look or bridal portraits!
We loved that our models were a real life couple and wanted to incorporate their two children as a flower girl and ring bearer. They stole the show! How cute are those suspenders?
We were pleasantly surprised the day of our shoot to have some hot air balloons make an appearance! From the custom calligraphy, perfect naked cake, to the out of this world organic and loose florals...everything about this came together just as envisioned!

There really aren't words to adequately describe how much we love this wedding from Deborah Ann Photography. Classic and timeless, elegant and refined, perfectly intimate and decidedly minimalist. Rachel and Luke knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding day, and brought it to life beautifully. Go get lost in the details and the love these two have for each other... we know you'll love this one as much as we do!
From Deborah Ann: Rachel was best friends with Luke's brother Johnny when she was 16. I guess you could say that Rachel was close to the whole Timoldi family except Luke. Actually Luke was away at college so they really never got to meet until Luke just happened to see Rachel's picture on Johnny's facebook page. He totally wanted to get in touch with her to meet but soon realized she was only 16! Several years passed and he finally realized that he wanted to meet her so he got up the nerve to ask her out. She said yes and the rest is history.
Now onto the wedding details! Their family and friends were so incredible throughout the whole process of planning their wedding. Rachel grew up right across the street from Centenary College located in Hackettstown NJ. It was the perfect choice for their wedding ceremony and reception and quite convenient. The beauty of the college is like stepping into a southern living room filled with much history.
Their wedding was homegrown in almost every possible detail. From the bouquets to the food and all the pretty little details scattered all around the college. Their friend Susanne took charge of the catering from calculating how much of everything they would need for the reception to the ordering of the food. Colette (another friend) spent hours helping to make all of the food. Their menu consisted of chicken tort, scones, honey baked hams, croissants with yummy jams and a wonderful grain free blueberry torte. Mama's Restaurant and Cafe Baci gifted Rachel and Luke a delicious tray of fresh mozzerella, tomato and basil. Alongside of the blueberry torte sat a very lovely strawberry crumble pie. The main course was a wonderful ham prepared by Rachel's dad. He got up especially early to prepare and cook for the dinner. Rachel's mom Wendy did so much of the beautiful decorations and floral arrangements accompanied by a whole group of very talented friends. The flowers were purchased at Little Big Farms in Blairstown, and Trader Joe's. Many of the flowers were actually foraged by the bride and bridesmaids.
The cake was adorned with purple thistles and white peonies. It was so pretty to look at that I was almost hoping they would not have to cut the cake, but once they did and I tasted it, I was so glad they did. Their friends, Joyce and Joe Perkins baked their beautiful wedding cake and it was decorated by Rebecca (who was also the amazing event planner). Rachel actually made 250 scones herself!
Their music was provided by a very talented up and coming group called Sleepy Man. Their voices blend so beautifully and they play the banjo, violin and guitar.
Rachel shared a little bit about her feelings on her wedding day. Her first and happiest moment was when she entered the church and saw all of her friends and family sitting and waiting for her to arrive. When she looked up and saw Luke she knew everything had come together so perfectly as she dreamed it would be.
I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love that this family is blessed to be surrounded by. It was such a fresh way to celebrate a wedding and I really loved the intimacy of the day.
In the wedding industry, meeting hundreds of new people at business events is part of the territory. By the end of the night, you've introduced yourself so many times, you're not even sure who you've spoken with, and what they do. We speak from experience when we say that Debbie of Deborah Ann Photography is not just another name that blends into the background. From the moment you meet her, you know she's vibrant, talented and full of love for her couples. She's one of our favorites, and we know you'll love her, too!
Tell us a little about yourself and how you got started!
I always had a love for photography ever since my middle school years. I would always hang around with the kids in the photography club asking questions and just getting as much information as I could glean! I had a boyfriend who was part of the club and he and I would always be involved with some sort of picture taking. Back then it was just film and I just loved photographing and capturing just about anything around me. My passion truly followed me all through my life especially when having children. Fast forward, I had joined Facebook and started posting images and I had a great response from people commenting about my work. It was then that my son thought that I should take it to the next level and hence deborahannphotography was born!
What services do you offer and/or what do you specialize in?
I actually started out in the business as a newborn specialist and then did lots of lifestyle and portraits. There came a time that a friend asked me to photograph a wedding and I thought why not! That was the beginning of an incredible love story for me with wedding photography. I am truly a wedding photographer but still do newborns on request especially for my couples that start families. That is so awesome seeing them return with their babies!
What makes your business unique?
Well I think there are lots of things truly to every photographer that makes them unique. For myself, it is extremely personal. Each couple comes to me and it really is like becoming a family. I am very much involved in their year of planning and details and they actually ask me a lot of advice which I adore! I do a pre -wedding session when possible which is where I arrange to shoot some of the details prior to the wedding day. I LOVE details and I love to do various types of scenarios for the invitations, rings, shoes etc. I also photograph all of those same details on the wedding day in a very different environment. I also do all of my shooting and all of my editing myself. If a client would like a second photographer that is not a problem at all to arrange.
What is your favorite part of working with couples?
Oh there are so many reasons but the most important to me is making them so comfortable with me on their wedding day and feeling very relaxed and not worrying about the photographer. Truly we get to spend the most time with the couple which is what I love. Sharing and seeing their joy up close and personal is the best.
One piece of advice for the couple?
Just enjoy the day and do not worry about all the details that truly belong to the photographer. We have it in our hands!
Childhood career aspiration?
I think I wanted to do some acting and then I wanted to be a secretary!
Coffee or Tea?
Absolutely a coffee snob!
HMMM I would say I was a late bloomer on playing the piano.
