Styled Shoots are always some of our favorite posts to share, not only because they're gorgeous and full of inspiration, but also because they epitomize the beauty that happens with a group of talented vendors come together. Ashley from C&A Event Planning executed a rustic and elegant Bridal Shower at Gilbertsville Farmhouse in Central New York. Full of warm wood tones, luscious greenery and touches of gold, this styled shoot is what bridal shower dreams are made of. Oh, and these baby goats (!!!) are maybe the best thing we've see all week.Read More
We're obsessed with all things wedding. The proposal, the planning, and especially the big day. But a little unknown secret is that bridal showers are maybe up there with our very favorite posts. Why? All the love, all the excitement, without the pressure of the wedding (yet). Seeing the thought and care that goes into surprising the bride - picking something she loves and creating an entire theme around it - is so fun to witness. Today's tea-party-themed shower in honor of KC is just that. Romantic, sweet and incredibly thoughtful, we love how intimate and exciting the entire day feels. KC is one lucky lady, and we cannot wait to see the sure-to-be stunning photos of their wedding in Paris!Read More
One of our favorite venues, one of our favorite photographers and one gorgeous summer bridal shower... today is the perfect storm of pretty. This summer bridal shower at Ninety Acres was in honor of Carly: a blogger bride and the gal behind the Cozy Curator. From the lush flowers to the sweetly simply decor, this celebration was beautiful at every turn. But of our favorite part has to be the genuine love between Carly + Jay: their smiles say it all, and with Cinnamon Wolfe behind the camera, they'll have these photos to cherish for a lifetime.Read More
The countdown is on! Our favorite bride-to-be, Kristen Henry, is getting married this summer, and we're honored to be sharing her incredibly gorgeous bridal shower today from Nicole DeTone! In April on the most beautiful day, Kristen celebrated with 100 of her closest family and friends. The entire day was full of surprises and thoughtful details, including a "bachelorette rose ceremony", and Kristen's mother's wedding dress on a mannequin. Her bridesmaids wore ivory as a way to honor them throughout the shower, and each table was named after a children's book that told part of Kristen + Kevin's story! If you ever thought a bridal shower couldn't be as beautiful as a wedding, than this shower will prove you wrong. With inspiration at every turn, this shower was the perfect sendoff for Kristen before she says "I do!".Read More
If the shower is this gorgeous, we can't wait to see the wedding! Lin Pernille captured every last detail of this stunning bridal shower in Westchester, NY. From the custom cutting board favors to the elaborate floral centerpieces, Nicole's Bridal Shower is to one for the books!
From Lin: When the bride is an interior designer, you know it’s going to be a gorgeous, detail-oriented, stylish bridal shower. Hosted by the mother-of-the-bride Anna in her New Rochelle garden, Nicole‘s bridal shower was definitely one to remember!
Each place setting included a custom made cutting board by Wine Devices and a menu topped with a sprig of rosemary. In lieu of name cards, guests’ names were written onto the kraft paper runner. In addition to floral centerpieces by Flowers by Sutton, the tables were also topped with fresh artisan bread & herbs for the guests to garnish their plates with.
As the guests arrived, they were invited to enjoy champagne, cocktails, passionfruit mint iced tea, rosemary lemonade, or rose water. The catering staff of Dinner Thyme served guests watermelon cubes with feta mousse, Maryland crab cakes, cucumber mint canapés, as well as cheese and crudités.
As the guests mingled, they filled out advice cards for the future Mr. & Mrs. and left their best wishes next to a Fuji Instax selfie in the guest book. If they were hot, they were welcome to a parasol or paper fan, or a blanket if they felt chilly.
The hostess & MOB Anna gave a sweet toast, then the event planner Grace J Bourne kicked off the first bridal shower game. After “He Said, She Said” and “What’s In Your Purse”, the lunch buffet opened and guests enjoyed Mediterranean grilled shrimp, salmon nicoise, and orzo salad.
The bridesmaids gave a funny & heartfelt speech to the future bride, then the dessert table was opened and the present-opening began! As Nicole was opening the last of her presents, her future husband Lee made a guest appearance – the perfect great grand finale to a fun-filled day!

A little different than our normal posts, but one we love nonetheless. This bridal shower, photographed by Brittani Elizabeth Photography, is the epitome of rustic elegance. The garden shed at Terrain is the perfect backdrop, and Katie's mom and sister did an incredible job with the decor and flowers. And of course, we adore the classic menus paired with hand-lettered chalkboard signage throughout the venue - a perfect combination.
From Brittani: Katies Bridal Shower was beautifully set up by her mom and sister. The succulent favors in vintage vases and containers were the perfect addition to the rustic "Garden Shed" at Terrain. The wooden floors and metal chairs created the perfect garden atmosphere as Katie's closest family and friends gathered to celebrate her upcoming wedding.
A little about the couple: Katie and Brian met at summer camp in high school and kept in touch for three years (and many different screen names!) before starting to date in college. They've been together ever since! Brian proposed on Thanksgiving weekend next to the fire in her parents' cabin.
