Labor Day Weekend Wedding at 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel • Mallori Ma Photography

Sometimes the hardest part of featuring a wedding is narrowing down the photos, and when there are too many amazing ones to choose from, you know the wedding is one-of-a-kind. Jennie + Drew's stunning Labor Day Wedding from Mallori Ma Photography at 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel on the St. Lawrence River was absolute perfection. From her dress to the florals, every last detail was romantic and sophisticated. Our favorite part though, is the sheer joy on these two the entire day. You can't help but smile!

From Mallori: First of all Jennie and Drew could not have had more perfect weather for their Labor Day weekend wedding. I couldn’t believe it when I was checking the weather the week before their wedding … three days of blue sky and sun in the mid 70’s! If you grew up around Central New York like me then you know that three perfect days like this and especially during Labor Day weekend is a pretty rare thing! And to top it off Jennie and Drew were getting married at the picturesque 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel nestled along the St. Lawrence River which also meant a weekend of gorgeous sunsets and walks along the river edge!We knew we loved Jennie and Drew from their engagement session! The word genuine comes to mind when I think of both of them …genuinely caring, joyful and fun! And they genuinely celebrated their love surrounded by their closest family and friends in the 1000 Islands which is also where they had their first date! It feels like we have known Jennie and Drew forever, we have loved our time getting to know them and one of my favorite parts of the day was watching them interact with their family. They chose a small wedding party with just their closest family and Drew’s kids who made the cutest flower girl and ring bearer. I love their love for each other!Their 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel wedding was perfect! I have so many favorite moments from the day but I loved watching Jennie and her family interact while she was getting ready. Wine with a straw was a critical part of the getting ready process and Jennie’s Grandma getting her makeup done was just the cutest! Another favorite of mine was watching Drew on the dance floor with his kids … I absolutely love that they were such a big part of the day for Jennie and Drew. And of course the dancing never stopped, such an incredible celebration!!Jennie and Drew had the most amazing team of vendors working with them to make their day a reality. The florals, the planning, the venue, the DJ, the decor … everything was perfect! It was an honor to be a part of this team and photograph Jennie and Drew’s special day. Enjoy viewing some of our favorites from their day and thanks again to all the incredible vendors!

Rustic Chic Becker Farms Wedding • Alexandra Meseke

Anytime a wedding starts out with an invitation as gorgeous as this, we know the rest is bound to be beautiful. We love everything about Amanda + Josh's wedding day from Alexandra Meseke ... from the flower arrangements made by her mom to the rustic chic reception decor, every photo is full of personality and love.  Our favorite part? The breathtaking bridal portraits during "the most epic sunset of all time". Rain is supposedly good luck on your wedding day, but we're pretty sure a sunset like this means your marriage is truly something special.

From Alexandra: Amanda and Josh's Becker Farms Wedding was far far more than we could have ever possibly imagined it would be. I mean, first off, lets just talk for a second about how we had the most epic sunset of all time. If you follow us on Instagram you know that I said I'm pretty sure we'll never take photos like this ever again because the way the light was bouncing against the earth that evening was like something out of dream.

What makes a great wedding though is not the sunset, or the gorgeous wooden center pieces constructed by Amanda's dad, or the perfect flower arrangements DIY'd by Amanda and her mom, or the jaw dropping cathedral veil she wore . . . no it's not any of that . . . it's the infectious chemistry, affection, and love that Amanda and Josh shared. These two had an extra special kind of respect and adoration for one another. I mean, for reals, I'm talking Nicholas Sparks kind of stuff here people. Sorry, I'm going all corn ball on you, but when Josh looked at Amanda is was like when Noah looked at Allie(in The Notebook for those of you not getting the reference). It was like he would crawl to ends of the earth to keep her safe and protected. And holy moly do I love me summa that!! Have I mentioned I'm a hopeless romantic?! DUH!!

And of course behind every good man and every good woman, is an even more amazing family. And they made us feel like part of that family. So warm, and welcoming, and that means everything to us. We honestly just didn't want this night to end. Not just because of the love we were feeling, but the incredible party, made possible by the one and only DJ Naps. Seriously guys, he's the best of the best.
