Rustic and Woodsy Wedding at The Roxbury Barn • All Who Wander Events

The only thing we love more than weddings from our preferred vendors, is when our vendors are the couple in the wedding. We just love everything about this wedding from All Who Wander Events, with their owner, Nicole, as the bride! Clean Plate Pictures captured every last detail at Roxbury Barn, which is pretty much one of the most amazing venues we've ever seen. Check out all the beautiful images below!

From All Who Wander Events: The focus on this wedding from the start was family, food, and fun. The small town of Roxbury, NY provided the perfect backdrop for Andrew + Nicole’s wedding weekend. From Friday through Sunday guests stayed in a local, themed hotel (we're talking about you Roxbury Motel), setting the tone right from the start. The wedding took place at The Roxbury Barn, the perfect rustic location. The ceremony was nestled in a pine grove where guests were surrounded by hundreds of trees and serenaded by an acoustic guitar. The cocktail hour took place on the hilltop with 360 degree views of the Catskill Mountains. Then, dinner took place under the stars and they danced the night away inside the barn. Nicole’s vision from the start was to play off of all of all of the natural elements surrounding the barn. We worked with Nicole to create her intimate, refined rustic wedding by using light grays, ivory, whites, and little pops of gold to enhance the barn and the surrounding woods. Our favorite part was seeing everyone set off wish lanterns when the wedding moved from the barn up to the bonfire. We love The Roxbury Barn!

Tell us a little about you and how you got started:  I started working in fashion my sophomore year of college with an internship in product development and I thought that’s what I was going to do forever. When I graduated college I took a job at the same brand but in an international sales role. Less creative, but it helped me realize that I really didn’t like trying to sell people things but I did like setting up the showroom, ordering flowers, and hiring models to create fashion week presentations. After some soul searching in fashion, I found myself working for Ruffled Blog and immediately fell in love with the wedding industry. That turned into a job with a planner which turned into my quest to go out on my own and change the way weddings are planned and designed. I wanted to build a company that helped people seamlessly blend planning and design without hiring two separate vendors- and All Who Wander was born!

What makes your business unique?: We approach planning and design in a different way- it’s all about authenticity. We work with couples to create something that is gorgeous but also special and personal. We don’t just tell you what decisions you should make, we guide you through the process to make it as stress free and fun as possible.

What is your favorite part about working with couples? Getting to see them walk back down the aisle together as a married couple on their wedding day. Often I’m working with couples for over a year, so it’s like seeing some of my favorite people in the world get married. I cry 100% of the time!

One piece of advice for couples?: Do your absolute best to enjoy every minute of your planning process and your wedding day. Don’t forget that the most important part of this entire process is that at the end of the day you and your fiancé are joined together for the rest of your lives, and that is amazing.

Childhood career aspiration?:  Art Therapist-I wanted to work in drug + alcohol rehabilitation centers to provide an alternative to traditional therapy.

Coffee or tea?:  Iced vanilla latte, always and forever.

Hidden Talent?:  I’m developing some sweet adult coloring book skills if I do say so myself.

Magical Hudson River Wedding at Southwood Estate • All Who Wander Events

Sometimes you see a wedding and feel like you could have been there. Maybe it's the photography, or maybe it's the feeling that everything about the wedding day was truly a representation of the couple... maybe it's a combination of a lot of things. This wedding from All Who Wander Events is one of those weddings. It feels real, and authentic, and so incredibly intimate. Emily + Dan's wedding at Southwood Estate really does seem magical, and has us dreaming of a warm summer days and a weekend away. Scroll down for all the stunning imagery from Mandee Johnson Photography!

From Nicole: Emily + Dan's wedding was the first time we worked at Southwood Estate, where we've now developed an amazing relationship with Dana + Hart, the owners. The great thing about Southwood is that it can become anything you want it to. It's just a beautiful property right on the Hudson River that you can make magic on. Emily + Dan decided on a minimal affair focused on the epic views and their love for each other. For the ceremony space, we wanted to make sure we honored Dan's Grandfather who worked in cotton fields in the South this whole life. The birch and cotton arbor was the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony. Guests then moved into a round sailcloth tent right on the edge of the hill. But, the real star of the show was the food. Fire Roasted Catering created the most beautiful buffets I had ever seen. I mean, do you see the color of those veggies? No filter needed!
