Romantic Summer Wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns • Laura Lee Photography

Oh friends, we will never tire of weddings at Blue Hill, and this gorgeous wedding from Laura Lee Photography is a wonderful reminder why! Jaclyn and Colin's wedding was the perfect blend of rustic elegance, with high-end, sophisticated details set against the wood and stone backdrops of the farm. From Jaclyn's almost-backless Nicole Miller gown to the bridesmaids dresses in a bold blue and stunning summer florals, every detail is more beautiful than the next. Our favorite part though? The way these two glow when they're looking at each other. Absolute perfection.

From Laura: When you get an inquiry for a Blue Hill at Stone Barns wedding, your heart tends to beat a little faster. The second I received Jaclyn and Colin’s email to photograph their wedding, I knew I’d be in for an incredible day. I visited Blue Hill for a quick tour and to say my jaw dropped when I arrived to its beautiful courtyard and pastures would be an understatement. It felt magical, and made me even more excited to be a part of Jaclyn and Colin’s wedding day!

I arrived at the Tarrytown House and Estate where the girls and guys were all getting ready. When everyone got dressed and hair and make up was done, we all went over to Blue Hill at Stone Barns where the ceremony and reception were taking place. After Jaclyn got into her gown, we strolled to the back of the barn overlooking the property for her and Colin’s first look. His face when he turned around was pure joy and I can see why - Jaclyn looked STUNNING.

We took portraits near the barn and then made our way up into the fields for some pictures overlooking the property. I think it was the most breathtaking venue view I’ve ever taken a picture of and putting Jaclyn and Colin right into that mix was just making me so giddy with excitement!

When the wedding party came out to join us, the light was perfectly golden and was shining right over the silo. I couldn’t come up with a better scenario if I dreamt it to be honest! After the wedding party pictures were done, the family met us by the old wooden barn doors for formals, and then everyone gathered inside before the ceremony. We had soooo much time, so as guests entered the courtyard, we were able to take a ton of group shots of everyone and get the reception details done early! This allowed us to attend cocktail hour and continue taking candids and I’m so glad we were able to because we also got to experience some of the most unique and beautiful cocktail hour food I’ve ever seen!

The ceremony was absolutely breathtaking, under the big tree in the courtyard, Jaclyn and Colin promised forever to each other with their own vows. The joined guests in the vegetable garden for their cocktail hour afterwards which was seriously incredible and so so beautiful!

After guests were led to the reception, everyone was seated for Jaclyn and Colin’s entrance and they then shared their first dance, and their parent dances. The Dylan Matthews Project was their incredibly talented band and they immediately got the floor jam packed for an incredible night of dancing! They were so unbelievably talented!

Overall, this Blue Hill at Stone Barns wedding is topping the charts for one of the most unbelievably beautiful wedding I’ve ever been a part of.
