Celebrating the start of everyone’s favorite season with THE prettiest fall wedding at Conewango Valley Country Club from Samantha Zenewicz, and friends, you’re going to love it! With a Rustic Italian theme, accented with a color palette of burgundy, golds and sage, these two created a day that was intimate, classic and completely romantic. One of our favorite parts of this story, has to be true to Italian tradition, Corey made Lisa’s bouquet and ohhhhmygoodness is it stunning! From the bouquets handmade by the bridesmaids and the arbor built by Corey’s grandfather, to the stunning fall foliage and the way Lisa honored her late father, this Pennsylvania wedding was pure perfection.
From Samantha: Corey and Lisa were college sweethearts at Allegheny College in Meadville Pennsylvania. They made the big move together once they graduated to Annapolis, Maryland and said I Do in Warren Pennsylvania. Corey is from a large Italian family, and wine tasting is one of their favorite hobbies, so they wanted their wedding to really have that classic Italian Rustic vibe going. Deep burgundy and gold accents made the venue come to life, while pops of ivory and sage green kept it airy and romantic. Corey's grandfather built the arbor that the ceremony was held under, setting it up as Lisa was getting ready inside the Conewango Valley country Club. The bouquets were all handmade by the bridesmaids, and upholding Italian tradition, Corey made Lisa's. During the first look, the two exchanged a number of sentimental gifts, but the one that brought tears to everyones' eyes was an image of the night sky in that exact location on the night of their wedding. Corey always says he loves Lisa to the moon and back, and now he was able to give her the stars on their perfect wedding day. He wore the fraternity pin of a dear brother that was lost too soon, and they shared a sand ceremony with a custom made hourglass. Lisa took a few moments to remember her father, wearing one of his flannels and keeping a seat for him with a photo of them together. The crisp autumn air made for a delightful day, and the sun even peeked out during portraits for some stunning golden hour glow. It was truly a beautiful day, full of so much love and devotion and I know that these memories will be cherished for a lifetime.
