Pride Month Wedding Inspiration at HIP at the Flashlight Factory • Megan McGreevy Photography

When some of Pittsburgh's finest wedding vendors come together to create a styled shoot that embodies inclusivity and love to celebrate Pride Month, we can't help but but fall head over heels for the entire day. HIP at the Flashlight Factory was the perfect industrial backdrop for Elie & Justin, and Melanie & Jess - two real couples - to create "just a normal wedding". Modern and ethereal with subtle touches of color, this day was completely gorgeous... and with Megan McGreevy behind the lens, no detail was left unturned. Incredible florals, white-painted palm leaves, elegant stationery and of course, two couples in love: it doesn't get more beautiful than that! We've said it before and will say it forever: Love Always Wins, and we will celebrate and share and recognize all couples, all year long.

From Megan: This styled shoot was a project about inclusivity and love. Two real couples modeled for us. Elie & Justin a married couple and Melanie and Jess, engaged and soon to be married, were our two beautiful couples. A hip and industrial venue lent it self as the backdrop, as the details, decor, and ambience with subtle touches of color here and there, bring together this gorgeous shoot to inspire any couple planning their wedding. This styled shoot was put together with a collaborative group of creatives in the Pittsburgh area in time for Pride month. The various vendors involved and I, put together an atmosphere that embodied so much of what a wedding is about, to show that everyone is worthy of an epic and wonderful wedding day; Whether that is two lovely brides, two handsome grooms, or a bride & groom, This is just a normal wedding for couples, and all couples in love deserve the most beautiful day.

Hand-made styling boards and ring boxes by me were included in the many beautiful details. The floral included white-pained palm leaves, white orchids, and greenery, which surrounded the couple in the ceremony site really fit in with the modern and classic vision of the shoot. Table decor included brushed metals and modern elements as well, featuring those palm leaves and lots of greenery.  Hand painted doors, and self hung rainbow ribbon were just a few unique statement pieces we included for Pride day.
