Muted fall colors, white pumpkins and the prettiest farm venue in Bucks County, and we’re left with the sweetest rustic wedding, full of inspiration at every turn. Siobhan and Christopher’s October wedding at The Farm Bakery is the perfect blend of modern and classic: with a color palette of burgundy, dusty blue and gold accents, they chose timeless decor (most of which was DIY!) that still felt incredibly fresh. Perfectly Paired Photography was there to capture every last detail, and we couldn’t love it more!
Our wedding took place on the most beautiful October day in Bucks County, PA. The bride knew she wanted a fall wedding for the gorgeous fall foliage, crisp air, and lingering sunsets. We have both always enjoyed our day trips to the country from Philadelphia, more specifically our drives to find and explore covered bridges in Pennsylvania. In fact, we tried quite hard to have our actual ceremony on a covered bridge but had to settle for engagement photos on a covered bridge instead. A barn wedding seemed like another perfect option as the backdrop for the rustic chic wedding we envisioned. Our color palette was burgundy and dusty blue with gold accents. We used white pumpkins and gourds in our decor instead of the traditional orange alternatives. We made most of the decor ourselves and completely wrote our own ceremony from scratch making the day truly ours and unique to us. We incorporated an Irish hand fasting ceremony with a custom made cord from the UK.
