FROM PAIGE: The Water Witch Club is like your home away from home. It is one of my very favorite venues in New Jersey because it has that homey feel without the stress of hosting your wedding in your own backyard. I love watching guests immediately relax when they enter this 1900s beauty. Couples are able to get married on their lawn overlooking a view of the New York City skyline, can sip cocktails on the perfect porch and then dance on the hardwood floors under bistro lights surrounded by their closest family and friends. The Water Witch Club only hosts approximately 12 weddings a year and with its growing popularity, the exclusivity makes it that much more special.
I love how much character this venue has with its dark wood and antique fixtures. To soften the spaces, we used a palette of blush, mint and white and premium flowers such as peonies, ranunculus, & garden roses. With a late May wedding, they had the pick of the litter when it came to luxurious blooms. . It was the perfect juxtaposition of the masculinity of the space. Janice and James knew that they wanted an unconventional space that felt like them and where their guests could just let loose and enjoy! And enjoy they did - you should have seen the dance moves!
We were so lucky that Pat Furey Photo was there to capture this gorgeous couple. Check out their first look and portraits- they are some of my favorite to date! When planning your day, make sure you pay close attention to your wedding day timeline to dedicate time for these gems- they will be treasured forever!
