Sometimes this little intro seems like not enough space to tell you how much we LOVE something, and this gorgeous, modern, super fun wedding from Asya Photography is a perfect example. Neera and Daniel chose The Kimmel Center for its grand scale and modern aesthetic, and it was the absolute perfect backdrop for their day. From Neera’s closest friends in an array of neutral colors to the late-night cheesesteak fries, this entire day was full of thoughtful details and unexpected surprises. With a white color palette, gold accents and loads of greenery, their entire day felt authentic and full of love, and clearly, was a party to remember!
From the Bride + Groom: We didn’t want to the ceremony to feel formulaic at all. For us, this meant having Rabbi Eric Yanoff officiate, who brought incredible joy and depth to all of the Jewish traditions; we also loved writing the programs ourselves and helping explain those Jewish traditions for all of our guests. Lastly, it meant writing our own vows and drawing upon our individual and joint experiences to truly articulate what marriage will mean for us.
Neera’s favorite food is French fries AND she’s a proud philly native - so the after-party cheesesteak fries were a highlight of the night. We didn’t stop dancing all night. Neera even had 2 wardrobe malfunctions, thanks to the non-stop dance moves — luckily our wedding planner, Victoria, was there to save the day!
The dancing continued at an after-party, hosted at nearby dueling pianos bar. The band not only let us dance on stage, but we even danced ON the pianos while they played Let’s Get Married by Jagged Edge.
