Beyond honored to be featuring Cinnamon Wolfe Photography for our meet-the-maker series today! Not only has Cinnamon been an instrumental part of getting this blog off the ground, but she also has recently accepted the title of Associate Editor for Red Oak Weddings!
Cinn has the biggest heart and the most wonderful entrepreneurial spirit, and we couldn't be more excited to have her on board. Brides + Grooms, you want this lady photographing your wedding. I promise that she's more than just incredibly talented with her work... from the instant you meet her you'll be at ease, and she will undoubtedly have you and your bridal party laughing the entire day!
Tell us a little bit about you, and how you got started in photography! I am a wife, a stepmom and pet mom who spent years corporate america prior to starting my own business. When we had to move due to my husband's job (he's in the Army) I found myself longing for a creative outlet and photography was it for me! I love the combination of art and technicality that is needed for this profession and soon after I started learning my business started growing and growing!
What services do you offer and/or what do you specialize in? I offer joyful wedding photography for seriously awesome couples as well as families. I like to say I specialize in having fun because really there is nothing better in the world than smiles and laughter.
What is your favorite part of working with couples? My engagement to Paul was probably one of my favorite times in my whole life. The anticipation and excitement over planning the first day you will be together as husband and wife along with the joy of knowing you are starting a marriage with your best friend...it's AMAZING! I love sharing in that time with my couples and supporting and encouraging during that time.
One piece of advice for couples? No matter what it is....always remember to communicate. Share what's going on and what you are feeling...just getting it out there in the open squashes so many issues that can come up later. Talk it out and move on.
Childhood career aspiration? For a hot second I totally wanted to be a fighter pilot or an astronaut. And then I think I wanted to be an author? Confused much? ;-)
Coffee or tea? Coffee only in the morning and diet coke in the afternoon!
Hidden talent? Buying too many handbags? Just kidding...you can never have too many! How about dealing blackjack? Yep! I can shuffle poker chips too!!
