Hopefully you're all recovering from full bellies, family time and some sunshine (!!) from the weekend: we certainly are! It may be snowing outside, but we refuse to acknowledge that today and instead have plenty of pretty to focus on with this incredibly sweet wedding from Bri Johnson Weddings! Kate and Luke's Power Plant Productions wedding was the real deal: relaxed and intimate, but chock-full of timeless details and thoughtful touches. From their neutral color palette to cardboard cutouts of their two dobermans, everything feels effortless and authentic. We know you'll love this one as much we do, friends!
From the Bride: We had an urban, but intimate, relaxed, no pressure, local wedding day. We both live in Philadelphia, where we are raising two dobermans together, Knox and Scarlet, who are very much like our children. They attended the wedding in spirit and cardboard cut outs that managed to make their way around the entire evening. Our wedding consisted of neutral colors and was timeless, but incorporated a natural feel (Luke grew up on a farm in a town of 800!). We had no formal sit-down dinner because we wanted everyone up, mingling, and dancing. We love being social, having fun, and have a hard time taking anything seriously. Family and friends made the day really special by Luke's sister singing a song during the ceremony and family members officiated the ceremony.
Kate's Wedding Planning Tip: Start early! Stay calm! Remember to have fun with it, no matter what!
