Hurricane Inspired Stormy Seaside Elopement • MLE Pictures + House of Catherine

Friends, it doesn't get better than this! Not only is it Friday, but we also get to share the incredible work from not one, but TWO of our favorite vendors. So today is basically the #bestdayever. Emily from MLE Pictures and Meghan, from House of Catherine, came together to create this one-of-a-kind hurricane-inspired shoot... and in their words, it's " beautiful, intense and unforgettable". From the gorgeous hand-lettered vows and moody photography, to the wind-friendly stunning dress from Sweet Caroline Styles and the bold bouquet from Petal and Paper, this styled shoot is one for the books. Proof that the beach is always a good idea, this stormy seaside inspiration should have you dreaming of a quiet elopement with the love of your life.

From Emily + Meghan: The concept for this shoot was love is just like a hurricane: beautiful, intense and unforgettable. We went with an earthy gray pallet to emulate the tones of the stormy seas and skies. The most intense hue of any storm, Pantone's color of the year Ultraviolet, was also showcased in this shoot! Any beach elopement needs a wind friendly, flowing dress and an oversized, whimsical bouquet. Sweet Caroline's wedding dress separates and Petal and Paper's bouquet were the perfect pieces for this seaside elopement. House of Catherine's papery brought the shoot together with passionate, handwritten vows and a romantic invitation suite. I wanted to capture all of the emotion, excitement, and raw elements of nature in this elopement inspiration.
