A entire wedding weekend, away in the Catskills, full of pretty details, the most stunning barn venue and your closest family and friends?! Yes, please! This incredible summer wedding from Thompson Photography at the picturesque Stonewall Estate will leave you dreaming of warm summer days and a trip to the mountains. Combining their Jewish and Italian cultures, these two planned an intimate and personal day, full of joy, tradition, and endless inspiration. From the mismatched bridesmaid dresses and sharp navy groomsmen suits, to the lush greenery and breathtaking reception space, this wedding will be one of our favorites for a long, long time.
From the Bride: Dan and I wanted to have a whole weekend affair that gave us time to celebrate beyond the traditional "6 hour reception" with our friends and family. We're excited to offer events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with everyone, and also keep the party going on Saturday night. Our goal is to share in all of the joy with the people we care about most! I always wanted to get married in a barn with a "restoration hardware" theme - lots of wood, greenery, and whites/blushes - and have a really unique and memorable getaway for our guests. Beyond the whole weekend-vibe, there are a lot of other non-traditional aspects of our wedding that are very us - "cutting the cheese" instead of cake, since we love cheese!; being married by our mutual friend who introduced us; not having a first look and waiting for that moment on the aisle; merging the Hora & Tarantella to show our Jewish and Italian cultures, etc.
