Elegant, classic and glamorous: literally, the recipe for a picture-perfect wedding. We're loving Madison + Adam's spring wedding from Heidi Roland Photography, and know you will, too! Understated and chic, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia was the perfect backdrop for this art-deco inspired wedding. From Madison's floral, long-sleeve sheer gown to the stunning white florals and lush greenery, their wedding is inspiration for every couple looking to blend cultural traditions with a modern flair.

Q&A with the Bride Madison

1 | How did you meet? I was at a bar on U street in DC and ran into my friend Joel from Penn State who was in town visiting his friend from high school, Adam. Adam and I started talking, i invited him to a sketchy techo bar with some friends, exchanged numbers and the rest is history....it also turned out we had a lot of friends in common

2 | When did you know he/She was “the one”?: Our real answer to this is probably not shareable....... the shareable answer is that for me that to be honest, I knew on our first date, not obviously but I had a feeling; for Adam it was on our California trip before I left for graduate school; or when we were fighting about politics

3 | How did he propose? On at night on east capitol street by the US Capitol, I had talked our way passed the two other spots he was considering and it was the last romantic spot before we got to dinner with our parents.

4 | Tell me about a pivotal point in your relationship? We broke up once, because we weren't communicating, then 6 months later we hosted a passover dinner together (as ex's.....not advice I would give people btw); and then got back together and discussed what had gone wrong in round 1.... round two was much stronger because of it (still going strong)?
