Everyone's favorite season is just around the corner, and this gorgeous wedding from Julia Rebecca Photography seems like the perfect way to celebrate! Eric + Elizabeth chose the Adirondacks - their favorite weekend destination - for their intimate wedding, and we couldn't love it more! From the perfect backdrop of White Pine Camp and the muted fall florals, to Elizabeth's cap-sleeve gown and the perfect fall tablescape complete with apple escort cards, every detail is absolute perfection. If you need another reason to love the fall, this wedding is the answer.
From Julia: The Adirondack Mountains hold a special place in Eric and Elizabeths hearts. They spend their weekends exploring the mountains, streams and misty woods together when every they have time to sneak away.
It was only natural that they would want to say their vows under the tall pines trees as well. White Pine Camp in the heart of the Adirondacks was the perfect venue for their wedding day. History runs deep at White Pine Camp outside of Saranac Lake. The Adirondack Great Camp at Paul Smiths served as the Summer White House for US President Calvin Coolidge from July 7 through September 18, 1926.
I first met with Liz and Eric over a cup of coffee at SubAlpine Coffee in Keene Valley, NY, as they were on the way to the mountains. I loved that Liz and Eric were planning a wedding that was true to themselves and highlighted the natural pristine beauty of the area.
I met the girls, the morning of the wedding, at the Hermit Hut where they were getting ready. The morning was quiet and the waters of Osgood pond were quiet. The girls helped Liz with her jewelry and last primping on the stone porch with the gentle rustle of the trees above.
I was so glad that Liz and Eric took advantage of doing a first look so that we could capture some beautiful pictures down by the Tea House on the water. We had a great time with the wedding party, taking pictures and they even had time to enjoy a bottle of champagne before the ceremony!
Thank you Liz and Eric for being yourselves, enjoying your wedding day wholeheartedly and allowing me to capture it all for you.
