The only thing we love more than fall, is fall in New York, and this engagement session from Kerri Lynne Photography is exactly what the doctor ordered. Jamie + Jessie's tour though Brooklyn is everything we love about the city: cobblestone streets, quaint cafes and that quintessential skyline. These two are clearly smitten with one another, and I'll be honest: their energy and excitement can be felt in every single photo. With a love like this, Jamie + Jessie are destined for a beautiful happily-ever-after.
From Kerri: When I first met Jamie and Jesse, I immediately loved their energy, their love for each other, and their desire for their wedding just to be a big fun celebration with both of their families. Family is so important to both of them – and they’re also both foodies – so I related immediately! There’s a food truck near their Manhattan apartment with this amazing kettle corn, and they both come home with bags and surprise one another with it! On the night of our meeting they both bought it for each other without the other knowing – too cute!
When we decided where to photograph their engagement, they wanted a true Manhattan vibe and loved how romantic it was in Brooklyn, where Jesse used to live. So we chose Brooklyn Bridge Park! As soon as this session started I knew it was going to be the best day – these two have such a connection! We started by the pier, and then walked back into more trees where it looked like fall, and the light was streaming in! Then we climbed on some rocks – these two were totally up for any adventure – which I loved! Then we went for a walk into some cobblestone streets, and even stopped by a cafe where they sipped coffee outside like a true city couple :) We then caught the most magical light back at the pier and captured some beautiful views with the Brooklyn Bridge in the background! And before the end of the afternoon, they shared some kettle corn together by the pretty lights at the River Cafe!
I am seriously so thrilled for Jamie and Jesse and can’t wait to be a part of their wedding day this fall! I hope you enjoy these lovebirds’ story!
