Today's wedding at the Harmony Golf Club from Julia Rebecca Photography is a sweet reminder that simple and classic will never go out of style. Kael and Jason had a beautiful September wedding, tastefully decorated with subtle fall details and loads of personality. Their wedding also marked their send-off, as they begin a 4-year journey in Japan together, making their day even more special.
From Julia: Many years ago Kael and I worked at a children's summer camp together in the Adirondack Mountains of NY. When she contacted me to photograph her wedding I could not have been more excited. I remember her being this outgoing, lovely girl on the inside and out. We had a great time talking about her plans for the wedding, and learning about her fiancé Jason.
These two could not have been more sweet to each other. I was so glad they decided to do a first look because I knew his reaction would be pure joy when he saw his bride. Jason and Kael were married on a blustery fall day in September. The Harmony Golf Club in Port Kent, NY is a beautiful setting overlooking Lake Champlain.
Kael incorporated just enough fall elements without it feeling overdone. Her bouquet was amazing with the perfect mixture of flowers, wheat and feathers; so chic. You would have never know it by how beautifully this day unfolded that a few days later Kael and Jason would be flying across the world to start a new adventure together. Jason is in the military and will be stationed in Japan for the next 4 years. I think this brought an extra element of emotion to their wedding day. Friends and family knowing that this was kind of a last good-bye for a while. It was really touching the outpouring of support and love that could be felt during the wedding.
