Just when I thought fall engagements were my favorite, Nicole DeTone shared this adorable Christmas Engagement session with us, and we're completely smitten. Laura and Joe wanted to combine their Christmas Card with a Save-the-Date, and the result was the warmest, coziest engagement session we've ever seen. Scarves, blankets, sweaters and hot cocoa? Engagement session perfection.
From Nicole: Knowing that they wanted to send a combination Save-the-Date + Christmas card to their family and friends, Laura and Joe brought along some seasonal outfits and props to their engagement session. Laura and Joe were completely themselves... happy, cute, and in-love with each other and this special time they had together :) A very Merry Christmas indeed for these two who have so much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to!
Our favorite blogger bride, Kristen Henry, is back with one last post before we get to share her wedding photos, and boy, is it a good one!. Kristen's Central Park bridal portraits are stunning in every way. From her soft blush dress to the cherry blossom backdrop, these photos from Nicole DeTone are classic, elegant and timeless.
We think it's pretty obvious that we love all things wedding: the proposal and engagement. The dress and the rings. The flowers and the stationery and all the thoughtful details... but when we get to feature a couple (from one of our favorite photographers!) who has already been featured on the blog?! Well, our day is made! Laura and Joe are perhaps the cutest couple ever, and while we LOVED their Christmas engagement session, we're head-over-heels for their wedding. Their wedding day was the perfect blend of modern elegance, and clearly full of so much joy. Get ready to be inspired - this one is sure to be a favorite of ours for a very, very long time!
The countdown is on! Our favorite bride-to-be, Kristen Henry, is getting married this summer, and we're honored to be sharing her incredibly gorgeous bridal shower today from Nicole DeTone! In April on the most beautiful day, Kristen celebrated with 100 of her closest family and friends. The entire day was full of surprises and thoughtful details, including a "bachelorette rose ceremony", and Kristen's mother's wedding dress on a mannequin. Her bridesmaids wore ivory as a way to honor them throughout the shower, and each table was named after a children's book that told part of Kristen + Kevin's story! If you ever thought a bridal shower couldn't be as beautiful as a wedding, than this shower will prove you wrong. With inspiration at every turn, this shower was the perfect sendoff for Kristen before she says "I do!".
