Tell us a little about you and how you got started: I started working in fashion my sophomore year of college with an internship in product development and I thought that’s what I was going to do forever. When I graduated college I took a job at the same brand but in an international sales role. Less creative, but it helped me realize that I really didn’t like trying to sell people things but I did like setting up the showroom, ordering flowers, and hiring models to create fashion week presentations. After some soul searching in fashion, I found myself working for Ruffled Blog and immediately fell in love with the wedding industry. That turned into a job with a planner which turned into my quest to go out on my own and change the way weddings are planned and designed. I wanted to build a company that helped people seamlessly blend planning and design without hiring two separate vendors- and All Who Wander was born!
What services do you offer and what do you specialize in? We offer both coordination and design from full planning and design to month of coordination packages. We work with couples with a variety of different budgets in a variety of locales but we specialize in tented weddings, barns, private estates, warehouses, and the like.
What makes your business unique?: We approach planning and design in a different way- it’s all about authenticity. We work with couples to create something that is gorgeous but also special and personal. We don’t just tell you what decisions you should make, we guide you through the process to make it as stress free and fun as possible.
What is your favorite part about working with couples? Getting to see them walk back down the aisle together as a married couple on their wedding day. Often I’m working with couples for over a year, so it’s like seeing some of my favorite people in the world get married. I cry 100% of the time!
One piece of advice for couples?: Do your absolute best to enjoy every minute of your planning process and your wedding day. Don’t forget that the most important part of this entire process is that at the end of the day you and your fiancé are joined together for the rest of your lives, and that is amazing.
Childhood career aspiration?: Art Therapist-I wanted to work in drug + alcohol rehabilitation centers to provide an alternative to traditional therapy.
