There's no better way to start a Monday than with this gorgeous Philadelphia wedding from Brian + Jessica photography! Jess + Tim's June wedding was full of thoughtful details, history and heartfelt moments. La Peg was the perfect backdrop for their summer color palette, and for the bridesmaids incredibly chic two-piece dresses. And let's not forget the stunning open back dress that Jess wore: completely elegant and perfectly modern.
From Jessica: When you mix a heartfelt ceremony in an old, historic church with a reception at a hip and industrial brasserie, then throw in a couple who’s love genuinely shines out of their soul, you get the recipe for a fairly perfect wedding day.
Jess and Tim spent a good chunk of their relationship dating long distance. When Tim made the decision to move all the way from Arkansas to Philadelphia to be with Jess, she knew she had one special fellow.
After months of planning, creating, scheming and dreaming, the wedding day finally came and you couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, and there wasn’t a drop of rain to be seen.
The day started with everyone getting ready at Hotel Monaco, a favorite spot for Philly weddings. A beautiful ceremony kicked off the early afternoon at the incredibly inviting St. Augustine Church followed by some photos with the Wedding Party at 18th Century Gardens and Merchants’ Exchange Building.
For Cocktail Hour, guests gathered at La Peg’s airy outdoor space for delicious food, whiskey-inspired drinks and some corn hole. For dinner, guests moved into La Peg’s unique theatre space, FringeArts, for a a savory meal including one of the best mac-and-cheese’s you’ve ever tasted.
After dinner, Jess and Tim, along with 160 of their guests danced the night away, enjoyed some delicious cakes brought in by the bride’s uncle, and even MORE amazing late-night food from La Peg.
