1950's Themed Train Station Engagement Session • Olivia Christina Photography

There are two reasons we're over the moon to share this engagement session with you. The first reason is probably obvious - it's gorgeous, at a train station AND from one of our favorite vendors, Olivia Christina. But the second is even more special. Today is Michelle + Joe's wedding day, which had no idea about when we chose today to share their post! We absolutely love their originality, and that they chose the Whippany Railway Museum to capture this special time in their engagement. So once you're done admiring these adorable photos, leave these two love birds some extra love on their wedding day!

From Olivia: While I may spend only 2 hours with a couple during their engagement session versus the 10+ hours that I spend with them on their wedding day, I really find that I get to KNOW a couple during their e-session. Michelle and Joe are one of those couples that know each other inside and out, and you can feel that immediately upon meeting them. And when you find out that they've been together for 11 years, it's not hard to understand why they're so comfortable together! They were sweet and thoughtful to each other throughout the entire shoot and it definitely helped that Joe knew exactly how to get Michelle to laugh.

The couple knew that they wanted their engagement photos to be unique but still match their timeless style. They opted to choose a 1950s themed shoot set at the Whippany Railway Museum in Whippany, NJ, where we had access to a vintage train car restored to it's original beauty. We photographed inside the vintage car and along the railroad tracks until the sun finally went down. We even got to use my 1950s Rolleiflex camera as a prop!

It was so much fun spending the day with Michelle and Joe and I can't wait until their wedding day in another 2 months!
